Gavin McNae is a true local. After leaving Smithfield High School, he completed his apprenticeship at Pacific Toyota Cairns, where his commitment and skill was rewarded with many promotions, culminating in his role as Manager of Toyota Smithfield from 1999 to 2006.

From about 2005, Gavin realised that people needed more convenient options when it came to vehicle repair and servicing. He realised that a mobile mechanical service would be a useful, convenient option for Cairns Residents and businesses.

In 2006, Gavin began offering his own mobile vehicle repair service. Since that time, Gavin has built a solid reputation for providing honest, reliable, professional and affordable mechanical services to Cairns residents and businesses.

In 2008, finding that some jobs are more efficiently tackled in a workshop, Gavin ventured beyond purely on-site servicing and now has a fully equipped workshop located at 2/454ASheridan Street in North Cairns, close to the Cairns Airport offering even more choice and convenience when it comes to servicing and repairing your vehicle.
